Aebi Schmidt presents new pavement marking machine
Frauenfeld - The Aebi Schmidt Group is expanding its offering with a new pavement marking machine. The EL+, which comes under the group brand MB, scores points for user friendliness and standardization.
(CONNECT) Aebi Schmidt is bringing a new pavement marking machine to market. The EL+, which is part of the group brand MB, was designed as a work-ready vehicle according to a corresponding announcement from the expert in agricultural and specialist vehicles based in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland. Daniel Lowe, Senior Mechanical Engineer on the development team for the new vehicle, commented in the announcement: “We designed the EL+ with standardization as a primary focus.” He added: “We wanted to strike a balance between creating a standardized design for streamlined production, but one that also offers some customization for the different needs of different customers.”
The announcement describes innovative user friendliness, simplicity, and maneuverability as additional advantages of the EL+. Unlike other pavement marking machines, the paint drums of the EL+ are not located in the middle of the vehicle, but rather on the outer edge of the bed. This means that they can be filled, cleaned, and maintained easily from the ground. Imran Malik, Managing Director at MB Pavement, explained: “We listened to customers asking for a simplified and affordable paint striping truck that is easy to use and maintain.” ce/hs
