Forster Rohner produces all the embroidery for Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2024

St.Gallen/New York - For the first time, Forster Rohner prepared all the lingerie embroidery and textile accessories seen on the catwalk at the return of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 15 in New York. The creative teams of both companies worked closely together in St. Gallen and New York ahead of the event.

Forster Rohner was the exclusive embroidery partner for the return of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. After a break of six years, the event returned on October 15 in New York. For the first time, the family-owned company, which is based in St.Gallen, Switzerland, was responsible for all the embroidery and textile accessories worn by models on the catwalk. As the famous Victoria’s Secret angels, top models including Gigi Hadid, Tyra Banks, Adriana Lima and Kate Moss displayed the creations.

According to Forster Rohner, the company worked closely with Victoria’s Secret, the world’s largest lingerie retailer, based in Columbus, Ohio, in the run-up to the show. The Victoria's Secret creative team visited Forster Rohner’s archives in St.Gallen to develop the designs for the show. “We sat together on the floor, gave free reign to our creativity and came up with the first ideas,” says Elisheva Senn, head of the Forster Rohner Lingerie business unit.

“We worked with Swiss-based textile company Forster Rohner and created the most inspiring looks ever seen on our catwalk,” says Janie Schaffer, Chief Design and Creative Officer at Victoria’s Secret. “Every imitation feather was carefully thought out, each sequin was precisely sewn on by hand, and every design tells its own story.”

Forster Rohner’s Sales Director Juliette Schwander and designer Seraina Ryffel worked in New York on content for Instagram, which was produced to showcase the inherent inspiration and creativity of this partnership. As Janie Schaffer explains, “We want to show the world who we are working with: a high-quality supplier that has a rich history and is deeply rooted in haute couture.” ce/mm
