Aebi Schmidt presents new models

Frauenfeld - Aebi Schmidt has presented two new models of its Terratrac TT slope tractor and three new motorized mowers. The machines developed by the manufacturer specializing in highway maintenance were showcased at the Agrama agricultural technology trade fair in Bern.

Aebi Schmidt, a specialist in machinery for the maintenance of transport routes and public spaces based in Frauenfeld, has presented five new models. According to a press release, two new slope tractor models, the Terratrac TT 242 and TT 282, with an innovative operating concept were showcased at the agricultural technology trade fair Agrama in Bern, which ran from November 28 to December 2. In addition, three new motorized mowers were also exhibited.

As far as the Terratrac TT 242 and TT 282 are concerned, the company writes in the press release that the new models are characterized by an innovative operating concept that intuitively supports the driver in controlling the tractor. It consists of a 12-inch touchscreen, two integrated control keypads and the drive lever. Moreover, functions such as the standard cruise control and electro-hydraulic group gearstick ensure that work is even more comfortable and safe, even when maneuvering around difficult terrain. Both the 75 and 109 horsepower models will be available from summer 2025.

According to Aebi Schmidt, the three new motorized mowers offer both greater power and enhanced operating comfort. The new CC 111 with 10 hp is around 20 percent more powerful than its predecessor model. In addition to reduced noise and vibration levels, a new 3-stage starting system makes it easier to use. The new CC 120 and CC 130 have B&S Vanguard engines, each with 14 hp, as the company explains further in the press release. The CC 130 motorized mower reportedly has an EFI engine with electronic fuel injection, while all of the new machine models boast protected electronics and optimized maintenance access. According to the company, this increases the service life and minimizes operating costs. The models will be available from the fall of 2025. ce/gba
