Baumer expands to Mexico
Frauenfeld/Santiago de Querétaro - The Swiss sensor manufacturer Baumer has opened a new subsidiary in Mexico. Baumer plans to strengthen its presence in Central America with the new branch in Santiago de Querétaro.
(CONNECT) Baumer has opened a subsidiary in Mexico. According to a press release from the sensor technology specialist, the company hopes to significantly extend its presence in Mexico and Central America by opening the new office in Santiago de Querétaro.
Oliver Vietze, CEO and Chairman of the Baumer Group, commented in the announcement: “As a trusted sensor solutions partner, Baumer strives to maintain very close connections with customers through its global presence. With the opening of our own representation in Mexico we will be even closer to our local and global customers as their partner of choice.”
Igor Pinto will be the General Manager of the branch in Santiago de Querétaro. Possessing over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and packaging industries, he will lead a team of industry and sales experts according to the announcement.
With the new branch, Baumer is now represented in 19 countries worldwide with 39 development centers, production sites, and sales units. ce/ww
